FUD: You guys have been taking so long to launch since Beta. When are you going to get on with it?

FOMO:

WE KNOW, WE KNOW. However, good things take time, great things take a lot of iterations….like a lot. We are hyper-focused on delivering an exceptional user experience, and have been seeing some amazing outcomes from this approach (We’re currently on our 30th iteration this year) We are in the final stages of design however, and are super excited to show you our work.

Here’s a little teaser:

It’s easy enough to talk about it, but actually developing a product takes time. We call it a wallet, but it does a lot more than that.

FUD: I don’t trust anyone anymore. How will my assets be secured?

FOMO:

You may have heard in Michael’s last interview, we are working with the best-in-class custody provider: Fireblocks. Their systems are built on MPC (Multi-party computation). TLDR: it’s a self-custody system to ensure the user always has direct access to their assets. We are secure. Your assets are secure.

You can read more about MPC here.

FUD: Meta, AWS and all these big-tech co’s are still harvesting data and the user has no visibility into how it’s being handled. How are you ensuring my data is handled securely?

FOMO:

We are working on a sovereign-cloud solution that is separate and independent from AWS (or ‘the big guys’), ensuring redundancies, geo-specific storage and user control if they ever wish to remove their Data. The announcement and details of this are in the works and will happen at a later date. When you create sovereignty, you create an ideal environment for Web3 to flourish.

This is just one of the components that will keep Cirus, and our ecosystem able to operate independent of most highly centralized infrastructure.

FUD: Where is the router, has that gone missing?

FOMO:

Like we said before, going global means we need to go fast, rolling out the web3 wallet first ensures this.

Our data partner (Cubera) is testing a D2C model that is suited for markets and users outside of ISP contracts. Meaning, the foundations for D2C hardware rollout are being laid while we focus on getting the global-first (wallet) products up and running. Cirus, at a later date will be focusing on the blockchain router and tying it into our network.

FUD: You said you have a data engine or partner qualified to enter data markets, where’s the proof?

FOMO:

Our Data partner — Cubera—has been developing its proprietary DMP/DSP in conjunction with building relationships with data buyers, as well as brands in multiple markets around the world. The response has been very positive as the data revenue-share model is resonating with advertisers and brands alike. This revolutionary approach of bringing the true owners of their data, and the advertisers closer together is no longer a concept. Through Cubera’s efforts these past months it is now a reality.

Without going into all of the details, their work as a ‘big data company’ is also ongoing, and you can keep an eye on what they’re up to here and here.

Cubera is extremely excited to be working closely with Cirus ensuring that users of the Cirus ecosystem maximize the value of their most important digital asset in Web3: their data.

Cirus Foundation Mission — Our mission is to accelerate the ownership economy by building the on-ramp for individuals to own, manage and monetize their largest digital commodity — Data.
