How to get your hands on one…

Now that the token launch is behind us, we’re back in build-mode, continuing forward with our product roadmap* and pushing toward the next milestone. Last week, we announced the first unique farming opportunity for our early token holders. The first iteration of the Cirus Platform will follow after that. (see excerpt below from our Project Overview). We’ve been getting a lot of questions from community members lately, asking when they can get their hands on a Cirus Device. Here’s the scoop:

The Cirus Device: 2 Models

Cirus will be launching two distinct versions of router: One for ISP (Internet Service Provider) contracts, and another for the Direct-to-Consumer market. We will be rolling out the ISP device first.

ISP Contracts

Our Foundation’s goal is to drive mass adoption and empower the Ownership Economy. ISP contracts are, quite simply, the fastest way to get the Cirus Device into as many households as possible. This will help us quickly build the data network, and bolster the ecosystem. This version of the device will have all basic features (still a fully featured Wifi router) and will allow a seamless on-ramping to the Cirus Platform for ISP customers.

D2C Market — You Guys!

The Direct-to-Consumer version will become available after the initial ISP device rollouts. It will be a premium version, more capable, with a few more features (and different look and feel) than the ISP-provided routers. Both devices will connect to the Cirus Platform and Core engine enabling enhanced data collection, but the retail device will come with a few extras like mining functionality! We’ll detail the differences when the time is right.

How Can I Get Started Right Away?

Start with the Cirus Platform and start earning

The Cirus Platform* (see detailed diagram below) will be the hub for managing all your activities and settings. It will enable direct connections into DeFi, offramps etc. Once the DMP-DSP (software backend) buildout is complete and tested, data monetization will start through the Cirus Platform first, before the devices roll out. This means the Cirus Platform will be a fully featured standalone product providing the full experience to anyone with an internet connection.

In the meantime, staking opportunities, promotions and other partnerships will be available through the platform, creating a one-stop shop. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for our Cirus Platform signup page.
